What is Pettify?
Pettify is an intelligent pet care application for iOS that helps you track your pet's health, activities, vaccinations, and daily routines. It features an AI-powered care assistant, family sharing capabilities, and smart reminders to ensure your pet receives the best care possible.
Is Pettify free to use?
Pettify offers a free tier with core features including pet profile creation, basic health tracking, and activity logging. Premium features such as unlimited AI assistant queries, advanced analytics, and multi-pet support are available through our subscription plans.
Which devices are supported?
Pettify is currently available for iOS devices running iOS 15.0 or later, including iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. An Android version is planned for future release.

What can I track with Pettify?
Pettify allows you to track a wide range of pet care activities:

How does the AI Care Assistant work?
PetCareAI is powered by OpenAI's advanced AI models. It analyzes your pet's profile, health history, and activity patterns to provide personalized care recommendations, answer questions, and alert you to potential health concerns.
Important: Only pet-related data (not your personal information) is sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI does not store API request data (zero retention policy). AI suggestions are for informational purposes only and do not replace professional veterinary advice. Always consult with a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns.

Can I manage multiple pets?
Yes! Pettify supports multiple pet profiles. The free tier includes up to 2 pets, while premium subscribers can create unlimited pet profiles.
How does Family Sync work?
Family Sync allows you to invite family members or caregivers to collaborate on your pet's profile. All members can view and update health records, log activities, and receive notifications. You can control permissions for each family member (view-only or full edit access).
Privacy & Security
Is my pet's data secure?
Absolutely. We take data security seriously. All data is encrypted both in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures and conduct regular security audits. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who can see my pet's information?
Only you and family members you explicitly invite can view your pet's information. Your data is private by default. You have full control over who has access to your pet's profiles.
What data do you collect?
We collect the following types of data:
- Health & Fitness Data: Vaccination records, medical history, weight tracking, medication schedules
- User Content: Photos, videos, pet names, notes, activity logs
- Identifiers: User ID (Firebase UID) and Device ID (for push notifications only)
- Usage Data: Anonymized app usage patterns, crash reports, performance metrics
- Diagnostics: Anonymized crash reports and performance data for bug fixing
We do NOT collect: Contact info (except for authentication), financial info (payments handled by Apple), location (optional, not used by default), browsing/search history, contacts, or audio data.
Do you use my data for tracking?
No. We do not use your data for tracking purposes. We do not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. The App complies with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and does not request permission to track you.
What third-party services do you use?
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): For data storage, authentication, analytics, and push notifications. Anonymized usage data and crash reports are shared with Firebase. Privacy policy:https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- OpenAI: For AI-powered features (PetCareAI). Only pet-related data (names, breeds, health records, notes) is sent to OpenAI—your personal information (email, name, address) is never sent. - Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. All payment information is handled by Apple—we do not collect or store payment data.
What data is sent to OpenAI?
When you use the AI Assistant (PetCareAI), only pet-related data is sent to OpenAI:
- Pet names, types, breeds, age, weight
- Health records and medical history
- Photo descriptions and notes
- Activity logs and behavioral observations
Your personal information (email, name, address) is NEVER sent to OpenAI. Pet data sent to OpenAI is contextualized but not linked to your personal identifiers. OpenAI does not store API request data (zero retention policy).
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export all your pet's data (health records, activities, photos) at any time in standard formats (PDF, CSV, JSON). Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Export Data.
How long do you keep my data?
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, your data is permanently removed from active systems within 30 days. Backup copies may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes.
Account & Subscription
How do I upgrade to Premium?
To upgrade, open the Pettify app, navigate to Settings → Subscription, and select your preferred plan. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store.
What payment methods are accepted?
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store via Apple StoreKit. We accept all payment methods supported by your App Store account, including credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay. We do not collect, store, or process payment information—all payment data is handled entirely by Apple.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations are managed through your App Store account settings. Your access to Premium features will continue until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
What happens if I cancel my Premium subscription?
If you cancel, your account will revert to the free tier at the end of the billing period. You'll retain access to all your data, but premium features (unlimited AI queries, advanced analytics, multi-pet support beyond 2 pets) will be disabled.

I'm experiencing technical issues. What should I do?
First, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Restart the Pettify app
- Check for app updates in the App Store
- Ensure your device has a stable internet connection
- Restart your device

How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and will remove all your data, including pet profiles, health records, and activity logs. You'll be asked to confirm before deletion.
I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link via email. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.
